Adelante: Moving Urban Youth Forward is a program based out of Nueva Luz and funded by United Way Services. For the past three years Nueva Luz has been successful in recruiting youth to participate in activities and events through a former programming effort called R-Life. The Adelante program is a focused product of that successful youth outreach.

Joyful Noise - http://joyfulnoisemusicschool.org
Children who have the chance to develop a talent and are proud of themselves will not need gangs, drugs, pregnancy and crime to feel important.
Joyful Noise was founded in 2003 with the goal of bringing music lessons to children who cannot afford them. In 2004, we provided lessons for 13 music students. In 2008, we registered 162 students.
