The Cudell-West Boulevard Neighborhood Steering Committee and Nueva Luz Urban Resource Center (which functions as the Lead Agency for the MyCom Youth Development Strategic Planning) are totally committed to the process of implementing the plan that was developed
by our community.
The transformational process of moving from resistance to greater openness and from not knowing each other to a sense of community building and cohesiveness was an amazing process. The inclusion of senior citizens and young people into an ongoing, inter-generational discussion was extremely encouraging, especially in an age when people
segregate to the silos of their own age brackets.
The Mid-West Neighborhood looks with anticipation to the positive outcomes that will emerge as a result of our strong community strategic plan.
